Membership meeting

June 18, 2008 by afrogermanexchange

AAGE e.V. will host a management/membership meeting on Sunday, 22 June 08 at 18 hours and invite everyone interested in creating a better social environment here in Germany through cultural exchanges in the form of entertainment, education, cultural programs and youth activities.

We will present our new internal management structure and talk about its purpose. Our structure is designed to give members the possibility to help change some of the problems found in our present operation. There have been both positive and negative criticism concerning AAGE’s past performance and it is agreed that a change in the structure and management is necessary. Therefore, AAGE want you to attend this meeting. If you cannot for whatever reason and want to know more about our goals and objectives, contact us at aage@aage-ev.org .

The meeting takes place at

SAALBAU Ronneburg. Gelnhäuser Straße 2. 60435 Frankfurt am Main

Thank you,
Lawrence McKee

First official membership meeting

March 9, 2008 by afrogermanexchange

Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear Members, Dear Allies and Assoziates,

we would like to thank you very much for your participation in AAGE eV.’s Black-History-Month event and your contributing to make it an overwhelming success. The enthusiasm about and strong interest in our plans and activities are enormously encouraging.

In case you might like to meet with us, Saturday, March 15th, 2008, 6 P.M at AAGE e.V.’s first official membership meeting, we will gladly welcome you to exchange thoughts and ideas. Your mere interest and presence in our meeting will be supportive, because we need to find out what AAGE e.V. can do for you personally. One of AAGE’s main objectives is to serve the Black-American community in the Rhein-Main-region, hence we request from you to please share your individual expectations with us, and we will do whatever is in the realm of our now growing possibilities to comply with your desires.

Our mission consists of a variety of purposes as many of you already know and which you will find here. In order to reach these goals, we need all and any support possible. AAGE e.V. succeeded to become an officially acknowledged legal entity, sponsored by the Department of Culture of the City of Frankfurt. We have achieved a lot already, but it will still take a considerable amount of man- and womanpower to make this organization a strong and efficient one. So please join us and helpAAGE e.V. to gain power. Be part of the start.

We invite you to meet with us at

New Years Party 2007/2008

January 22, 2008 by afrogermanexchange

This was our first “official event”. The members prepared excellent Soulfood and ensured that no one had to go home thirsty. We were not many, but for a first time it was great. The AAGE only recently received registration in December and of course this was a very good reason to party and a great start into the New Year.
